National Public Lands Day
OVERVIEW
MediaQuest (formerly Cut ’N’ Run Productions) provided video production services for the National Public Lands Day 2022 activations supported by the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) and the Student Conservation Association (SCA). This project captured volunteer efforts, environmental education moments, and community stewardship activities across multiple sites, creating visual content that highlighted the impact of National Public Lands Day.
CREATIVE APPROACH
Our team focused on capturing authentic, story-driven footage that showcased both organized conservation efforts and the personal experiences of volunteers. MediaQuest worked with event organizers to identify key activities, plan camera positions, and document the energy of the day while maintaining a respectful, unobtrusive presence in natural environments. By combining high-quality visuals with intentional storytelling, we ensured that the final footage reflected both the mission of the organizations and the spirit of public land stewardship.
DELIVERABLES
MediaQuest delivered a suite of video assets suitable for outreach and promotional use, including edited highlights that encapsulate the day’s activities, footage of volunteer interviews and event moments, B-roll shots of landscapes and conservation efforts, and final files formatted for social and web use. Each asset was prepared for flexibility across digital platforms, helping organizers extend the reach of their messaging.
IMPACT
The video production helped amplify the mission of National Public Lands Day by providing NEEF, SCA, and partner organizations with professionally produced visual content that supports future engagement, education, and advocacy. The footage strengthened online outreach efforts and served as a valuable storytelling resource for environmental communication campaigns.
