In Search of Darkness: Part II – Studio Production
Overview
MediaQuest (formerly Cut ’N’ Run Productions) provided studio-based video production services for In Search of Darkness Part II, a feature-length documentary celebrating 1980s horror cinema. The project involved filming interview segments at our production studio for inclusion in the larger documentary.

Our focus was on delivering clean, cinematic interview footage that aligned with the documentary’s visual style and technical specifications. MediaQuest prepared the studio environment to ensure professional lighting, controlled audio capture, and consistent framing for all on-camera talent. Working closely with the production team’s guidelines, we ensured that every shot met the required format and quality standards for seamless integration into the final film.
DELIVERABLES
MediaQuest delivered professionally recorded, broadcast-quality video footage captured in-studio, along with synchronized audio files, prepared for post-production by the documentary’s producing team. All media was organized and transferred according to the production’s technical requirements to ensure an efficient editorial workflow.
